What is drip-feed indexing, and why would I slow my links down on purpose?

We get this question from clients almost every day — so Drip-Feed now has its own guide, calculator, and a simple toggle in every indexing task.

What's new

Drip-Feed submits your backlink list to Googlebot in small daily batches over 7–30 days, instead of one day-one blast. You pick the pace; the dashboard shows daily progress in real time.

Why it pays off

• A sudden spike of indexed referring domains on a young domain looks manufactured. Gradual discovery looks organic.
• Bulk-crawling hundreds of backlink pages in one day burns crawl budget your money pages need.

How to enable

1. Create an indexing task
2. Toggle Drip Feed
3. Set the number of days — or pass drip_days via the API
